Here is a Two Gallon Jug Advertising Jug marked T. A. McIntyre / Distiller & Rectifier / Waterloo, N.Y. It Displays a Wonderful Cobalt Blue Leaf Design that Fills the Front of the Jug. While there is no pottery mark, it was probably made by the Fort Edward Pottery, circa 1870. The Condition is Quite Good with a minor glaze burn on the back side, some minor mottling to a heavy glaze on one side, and a line in the clay just under the blue, all a consequence of the making. There is no damage from use. The Jug measures 14 in height and 8 ½ in width at the base. This Jug makes a Wonderful Display piece.
